| If you remember Miles & Davis (rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas in late June, after being dumped by their family), then you will recognize this boy. He's Davis' brother and littermate who was dumped at the same shelter by the same people this past week!
CLICK HERE to read about Miles & Davis Duke has been pulled from the shelter by our angel, Anne, and is now safely in the care of Dr. H in Houston (who also did the surgeries and care of both Miles & Davis and who also named all 3 dogs). We are waiting for further news and pictures of Duke and will also be asking for transport volunteers to bring him to Phoenix when he's ready (in a few weeks). UPDATE 8/12: GOOD NEWS!! Duke is ready for transport. He has been neutered, updated on shots and heartworm tested (NEGATIVE). We are now exploring options for his trip to Arizona. Foster mom Jen is anxiously awaiting his arrival. UPDATE 9/4: Thanks to Julia at Animal Rescue Flights, a flight from Houston to Scottsdale has been arranged for Duke for tomorrow! Our thanks go out to volunteer pilots Norm and Peter who are going to be making the flights (Norm from Houston to Van Horn, TX and Peter from Van Horn to Scottsdale) with our boy. We will have photos of Duke's arrival tomorrow. UPDATE 9/5: Duke has arrived safely in Van Horn, Texas, and will be taking off shortly for his flight to Scottsdale. DUKE HAS ARRIVED!
