|Anisha (formerly "Chloe") was placed into what we had hoped would be her forever home in the summer of 2017 after being fostered in the home for several weeks. All updates following her placement were positive, including the last one we received in late November 2017. But, this past week, in response to our Gilbert Days Parade invitation, we received the devastating news: Anisha needed to find placement elsewhere. After reading the email, we were truly confused -- had Anisha adjusted TOO WELL?
Her adopter stated that she now felt that hers was not the best home for Anisha because, after 14 months of bonding and improvements, she felt that Anisha was "bored" and would be much happier in a family with children or possibly as a therapy dog.
UPDATE 11/4: We have just been notified by Anisha's adoptive mom that she is moving out of state on December 1st.
Anisha is housebroken, good on a leash, good with cats and other dogs. She loves to play with her tennis balls and chew on her stuffy toys -- we will have to find one she likes as she did not bring one with her when she arrived at Doggie District.
UPDATE 11/7: As of this afternoon, Chloe is safely back in our hands and tucked away at Doggie District. According to the staff, she definitely remembered Doggie District and was overjoyed to join her friends (some old and some new) outside in the playground. She's one happy (and tired) little girl tonight. We will be going over to bring her whatever she needs and to take some new photos of her. Chloe is ready for the rest of her life with a new, loving family. She'd sure love the chance to meet you.
Adoption fee $395.00.
