ANGUS

Angus was stray taken off the streets by his Good Samaritan DeAnn. He's doing well with her five other dogs and has been trustworthy when left loose with a dog door when Mom is not home.

He's a friendly guy scheduled to be evaluated the weekend of 9/27. Please check back for more info.

Angus is a sweetheart; friendly, passive and happy to meet you. He's about a year old, give or take a few months and knows nothing; zip, nada, zilch, not even sit. That said, his temperament is a real plus. He's very gentle taking food..a real warm n fuzzy dude. He's a strong youngster, easily distracted and has likely had more exposure to other dogs than one-on-one contact with his humans..his history is a mystery. One thing is for sure..he's essentially a large puppy and will need to be trained just like an eight to twelve week puppy would..from scratch.

He is house trained, walks terribly on lead, so there's work to be done. His foster Moms might be able to test him with cats soon. His prey drive is low so might do well...we'll see.

Angus is a really nice blank slate ready to learn what being a family companion is all about. He will need time and patience..some obedience training experience would certainly speed up the process...but he's definitely deserving of the chance.

He will be neutered, vaccinated and chipped prior to placement.

Adoption fee $295.00.
